Nashville Pussy - Let Them Eat Pussy

Okay, yeah, this cover is just as rude as it gets, but I've always loved this album, more so for Nashville Pussy's greasy cowpunk played at a monster velocity. It just so happens the over-the-top cunnilingus depiction makes the package that much more fun!

Even in CD form, this boundary-crossing picture unravels to a gatefold alternate picture, and though Ruyter Suys and former bassist Corey Parks are pretty much covered down below, you get more than a glimpse of the goodies upwards, particularly Corey, who had quite the wild child reputation during her tenure in the band.

Does it seem impossible that a band called Nashville Pussy with such a perverted album cover could get a Best Metal Performance Grammy nomination in 1999 for the song "Fried Chicken and Coffee?" Believe it.

Eat my dust, or...

I think the Dwarves (Blood, Guts and Pussy) and NOFX (Heavy Petting Zoo) have covers that will beat this one on the scale of disgusting representations of sex, but this one is almost in the same league. The other two are both a bit funnier and more over-the-top. I guess the thing I don't like on this one is that it's just gross, but it lacks a sense of humor. Kind of like Howard Stern in a way, because he's not a funny man. He's just disgusting and a lot of people confuse that with humor.

I made out with Ruyter when NP toured with Motorhead and the Supersuckers. And of course her husband was standing right there. It was a little bit weird to say the least. She's a great kisser! I also got to see Corey Parks' snatch all night as her red pleather pants were without a crotch and she had no panties on. of course I was front row. When we were all backstage, she and her girlfriend were making out and everyone got to see her snatch wide open as her girl was fingering her for quite a while. It was pretty trippy.

As for the band itself, I'm not a fan of the music but they do put on a good show.
