Picastro - Whore Luck
Much like the music it contains, the cover of Picastro's Whore Luck is almost beautiful. Lying just short of beautiful is disturbing and the cover is most certainly that. The two faces which almost appear to be kissing at first glance have melted (or perhaps smashed) into each other like some schizophrenic nightmare.
Note: This album is not out until September 11, 2007. However, I do have a review posted on my other site.

Very interesting. You nailed it--at first, casual glance it looks like a nice little sketch. Then it looks a bit ... well, disturbing.

It's not available until September 11? But you've heard it already? How is this possible? Are you some kind of Music Industry Insider or something?
it's amazing what simple fluidity a pencil drawing can produce...this album cover has inspired me to post on my favorite Placebo album...
