The advent of digital music may be making the album cover seem quaint, but some of us still believe in the full package. For better or for worse, here are the good, the bad and the ugly...

Snakebyte
Sometimes a cover is bad because of poor artwork. Other times a cover is bad because of an ill conceived concept. Still other times a cover is bad because it's just..well.. bad.
Little known 80's metal band Snakebyte might fall in to all of these categories.
I actually more written for this one, but Blogger was giving me a fit so I had to just give up. I just ended up published what it would allow me to save.
I know you ripped this one, but I think it's pretty f'n rockin. Sure it's amateurish and poorly done but let's say Frank Frazetta did the same exact cover...it would probably be awesome. It's not a bad concept, it's most likely just bad artwork.
If Frazetta had done this then you probably wouldn't be able to tell it was the same concept. it would take on a new life. That's the difference between one of the best fantasy artists of our time and some dude this band probably pulled off the street.

If Stewie from Family Guy were a snake, I'm pretty sure this is how he'd look.

Yes, it's bad. But having boobs on the cover keeps any album from getting the lowest score on any scale.
