Great White-Back to the rhythm

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

I wonder if Great White spent a long time coming up with this cover concept and the album title? You see, they have not done an album in a while so they have come "back" and the album title has been tattooed on the man's "back". While I get the "back" idea, I can't imagine this album having a huge amount of rhythm. I also don't care a whole lot that they have come back, but that may just be me.

If it says "Tattoo Parking Only" that's a fair indicator

I especially like the realism of the cover. I often see guys with full back pieces with big, serif typefaces. Never Old English or script words on their backs, just a nice variation on Times New Roman.

They should've named the album "We're a bunch of talentless douchebags and our music sucks."

Actually, Back To The Rhythm is the first track on the album, and the guy getting the tattoo is a long time fan. The band thought it would be nice to put him on the cover. You got a problem with that?

Yeah, I have a problem with anyone stupid enough to be a long time fan of Great White.

Screw you mindless talentless internet blog surfing douchebags. This band has agreat talent, they stick with it and they enjoy the fruits of life that have been given to them. Do your homework and realize they did NOT start the fire...just a very sad incident that has been "tattooed" on them. Maybe you should appreciate the talent they have and enjoy the entertainment!

Actually, I think it's quite clear that they did start the fire. It wasn't spontaneous combustion, you know. The only question is how culpable they are and how much blame lies with club. Anyway you look at it though, fireworks and small spaces don't mix well and everyone involved should have known that, so I'd say there's enough blame to go around.

As for them being a great band, the closest they come to great was including the word in their name. They were just a run-of-the-mill wanna-be-Led-Zeppelin bluesy hard rock band. There were thousands of these bands in the 80s and Great White was just one of the ones lucky enough (and it was almost all luck, because many of those bands are barely distinguishable from each other) to have some commercial success. There's not much to appreciate about Great White unless you have a nostalgic love for the crap the music industry was force feeding everyone in the 80s.
